I found your book quite by accident and since we are starting a childrens garden using your methods we will let you know how we do. Looks great so far!

Been a square foot gardener for 16 years and just read the all new book. Can’t wait for spring to make Mel’s mix and revitalize my garden!

I live in a little mobile home in Alabama and have wanted to have my own garden since 2004. This is the first time I will be able to imagine the possibility!!! Thanks, Square Foot Gardening, for making a little dream come true!!! ;) Opelika, Alabama

Square Foot Gardening is awesome – I bought Mel’s book and started my first ever vege garden late 2008. Now my New Zealand garden looks like Day of the Triffids – plants going mad everywhere! A great system, thanks Mel.

I am an Activity Director for a nursing home, and for the last 20+ years I have had done sfg with the seniors at whatever facility I have worked at. Using both on the ground and raised sfg’s It has always been one of the most favorite activities that they do. You should see them “fight” over their own little square foot or two.. It’s great. Looking forward to the monthly tips.

Hi Mel! Hello Patti and Rob!
Here in Mt. Gilead, OH we have been on Mel’s SFG plan for six years now at our senior residence. What fun and enjoyment! Our boxes are on tables–so we don’t have to bend over.
These new videos … a great idea!

Thanks for the video! I can’t wait to start my SFG! I’m in Tennessee, so my growing season is a little later than in California where you are. Thanks for the information.

I’m looking forward to helpful videos. I currently have three 4×4 sq.ft. gardens with water reservoirs built in underneath them to catch the rainfall and wick up into Mel’s Mix. They worked well last year and I plan on filling my 50 by 60 ft back yard with more.

    Thanks Mel, Patti and Rob

Wow, so glad you are doing these videos! Would love to see more garden images – and to have the images not scroll by so quickly. Not all of us were born during the MTV generation, lol.

How nice to find this show on my first planting day of the year: I just filled 9 sf with red and yellow onions today!
