    Looks fantastic, I’m putting in a square foot garden at my place right now. I’ve got hardly any space at all so I’m trying the tiered boxes also. I hope it turns out as well as yours did.

    Wow, my hubby just made me some boxes too. The drip system is in and I am waiting to put in soil and plants!

    Hi!
    Actually, I rarely use the irrigation system in the beds. I installed it mainly for times when I will be on vacation. The heads which irrigate the lawn do an adequate job of keeping the parameter of the boxes watered. If it is particularly hot, I may run them for about 10 minutes. Now that I am getting more experience at the plantings, I like to put the tall thin plants, like peppers around the center, and the bushy plants, like bush beans in the outside boxes.

    I see that you have the irrigation head in the center of the beds. Have you had trouble keeping the soil evenly most thruout the whole bed once the plants are taller than the irrigation head?
