    No I don’t use plastic covers at all. I am in the Mohave Desert and the temperatures are regularly over 100F. A plastic cover would make it way to hot for the plants. Even in the winter I just put a bed sheet over them if the temps get below freezing. Hope this helps. ~Jeri

    I noticed that you don’t cover your container with plastic. Is there any reason why. Made a grow bucket this weekend and not sure whether to cover it with plastic or not.
