Great idea home grown veggies are always better, just a thought pool chemicals can be bad for some plants and if lawn fertilizers with weed killers were used that too can be bad. Lavender has lots of uses you can even use it in some recipes I purposely grow it in my garden along with peppermint and spearmint.just some thoughts. Good luck with the project.

That part of the yard where the grass doesn’t grow sounds like a great place for a mulch pile.

Lookin good. I have been buying seeds and going through seed catalogs already. We wont have our frost free day until sometime in May! There are some things I can plant before that but it is still a ways off. Keep us posted on your progress.

Sounds like a good plan, but remember, fruit trees brings bugs like gnats.
