    If I may answer this for you… Using two or three smaller diameter wire is often preferable to one large diameter wire for a couple of reasons. One, it’s easier to put on without damaging the tree. Second, it tends to look nicer.

    nice work Graham! just one question. i see that on the thicker branches u used 3 wires to bend them. what is the difference between using more of a thin wire rather then using just one thick wire?
