    Hi Jerry,
What happened to your gloves? I thought you were wearing some now? I know Elms are tough tough, but let’s see how this one deals without most of his feeder roots removed! How is that tree doing now?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Sometimes going over the edge a little bit can put the plants in jeopardy. We are going through a cold spell here (40′s at night) and I’m waiting to see what happens.

Thanks, that clarifies. Most of my bonsai are doing fine except for one of my junipers that I think a may have clipped too many roots off. Plus one of my benseng ficuses lost all it’s leaves and all the branches died. I belive it died because I had it in my basement under a plant light and it got a little cold.

    Hi,
I really don’t remember exactly why things happened the way they did. Sorry if I made a mistake. Welcome back. Hope all your bonsai are doing well!

    Hi,
That was a beetle that came running out. I often run into palmetto bugs (florida roaches that fly) and other various insect life. They live outside, and it’s their world out there. As long as they don’t invade my house, we have a peaceful co-existance.
