wow sunnybird, your lucky cuz bald cypress cost so much more where I am. That looks like a great nursery. I didn’t like that ficus you purchased though. I don’t think the taper will ever be pleasing. Are you planning to carve it a bit to improve the taper?

    Hi,
That was Erik’s wife, Andrea, who is always a great help when we visit. Their prices are verty reasonable for the great specimens they offer. I think their prices beat the regular nurseries and the selectuion is far superior to anything I have ever seen at a regular nursery. Well worth the visit.

Your daughter, or niece closed the video ?
Perhaps in the future, you can give the prices of the different items you purchsed.
    ……………………………Bald Cypress at a regular nursery. 7′ high. $22.00
Cut it back, it grows like a weed.
Take a cutting, stick it into the sandy earth, 60 days later, roots galore.

    Hi,
It is a great nursery and we are very lucky to be within driving distance. I reeally haven’t looked closely at the ficus, but I liked it when I saw it, and I fell that eye appeal, as in other collecting areas is so important. It will be whatever it will be. We’ll just have to wait to see what I do when I get to it in the next couple of days.

Can you grow just about any plant as bonsai? I have a schefflera that looks like it was grown as a bonsai. Its just in a regular pot with dirt. Would it do well in the sphagnum moss?
