Marijuana bonsai? I got my first one from mall… very cheap but i raise him from seed. He currently is in seed form hibrenating in fridge. One of them sprouted… its weird. Well its a jack pine and i want him to look beautiful. Lol
1:49 could be a Chinese elm I think.
The trees at 1:59 and 1:49 are amazing, what are they called?
I would like to know the name / genus of the “grove” or “tree” at 0:17. It looks like an aspen grove or something. Wonderful images, thank you for sharing
impressive, some works of beauty, but it would be nice to know the genus names of each plant. I feel left in the dark. was hoping to both see beauty and learn something. had both elements been included, you would have warranted a 5-star rating. absolutely lovely collection though…well done.
that is a lovely collection there can see the trees are very well taken care of.
whats the name of the tree at 3:08????

man i luv japanese maples how’d u get all these cool bonsais? did it take long to make them pretty?
the one at 3:14… SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL
It’s a Japanese maple, not lace-leaf, just standard. You can reduce the size of a leaf to 1/4 of the original with regular pruning. This is why plants with small foliage are desired to begin with. You certainly would not want to use a canadian maple because the leaves are VERY large to begin with. Another popular maple is the Trident which has 3 prongs.
What’s the bonsai type at 1″16? I would be very gratefull if anyone could help me…
the “action” at 1:57 is striking.
you should see them in 3D!
2:37 is my favorite. Really awesome work. I’m trying to start up this hobby and need some inspiration.
To answer your question imhotep, I saw a bonsai go for 1000 USD on ebay. Some of those trees can be 100 years old. But the fun part is making one yourself!
