This is an update video of the Sweet Broom bonsai that I did 6 month ago. It shows how it looked during these time. It started weak, then did great and gave me a second bloom (which I enjoyed), and finall ended up with some pest infestation (Genista Caterpillar). Despite the ups and downs, this bonsai is still doing well and I enjoy it very much.

Jak dowiedział się dziennik “Correio da Manha”, drastyczny wzrost liczby zachorowań pracowników podczas wakacji zwrócił już uwagę urzędników portugalskiego Ministerstwa Pracy i Polityki Społecznej oraz podlegającego mu Zakładu Ubezpieczeń Społecznych.

“Inspektorzy podczas pierwszych kontroli wykazali, że w niektórych przypadkach bezrobotni korzystali z nielegalnych zwolnień, aby przedłużyć sobie możliwość otrzymywania zasiłku, który straciliby, gdyby zostali wysłani przez urzędy pracy na obowiązkowe kursy zawodowe” – ustaliła lizbońska gazeta. W 2010 r. portugalski ZUS wykrył 70 tysięcy nieprawidłowo wystawionych zwolnień lekarskich. Ubiegłoroczna kontrola uratowała budżet przed utratą 4,3 mln euro.

Według ekspertów, podejrzany wzrost liczby osób udających się na zwolnienie chorobowe w tym roku może wynikać także z obaw pracowników o nagłe zwolnienie z pracy.

Jak ustalili urzędnicy lizbońskiego ZUS, znaczna część mieszkańców Portugalii otrzymała w ostatnim czasie zwolnienie lekarskie w związku z depresją. “Choroba ta jest aktualnie główną dolegliwością doskwierającą Portugalczykom. Częstym motywem pojawienia się stanów depresyjnych jest obawa utraty pracy” – zauważył “Correio da Manha”.

Portugalia posiada jeden z największych na świecie odsetków obywateli cierpiących na depresję. Z danych Ministerstwa Zdrowia w Lizbonie wynika, że z porad psychologów i psychiatrów korzystało już 27 proc. mieszkańców tego kraju.

W zawartym w maju br. porozumieniu z Unią Europejską i Międzynarodowym Funduszem Walutowym Portugalia, w zamian za pożyczkę w wysokości 78 mld euro, zobowiązała się m.in. do kilkuprocentowej redukcji zatrudnienia w instytucjach administracji państwowej.

12,5-procentowy poziom bezrobocia w Portugalii jest najwyższy w tym kraju od 30 lat.
